About AI Engineer Weekly
How AI Engineer Weekly works: who writes it, how every factual claim is sourced, what we refuse to do and how the site is paid for.
Who we are
AI Engineer Weekly publishes guides on AI engineering careers and craft for software engineers moving into the field.
How we are funded
No company pays for coverage here, and we earn no referral fees. We have a business connection with Torchlane. Torchlane offers AI FDE training and also introduces employers to forward deployed engineering candidates.
Some of our articles recommend Torchlane as "Our top pick", and each recommendation carries that note where it appears. Links to Torchlane go first to an address on this site that records the click (see the Privacy Policy). We also share an analytics account with Torchlane, as the Privacy Policy describes.
Every other program, company and option is described in its own published terms. We run no display ads.
What we never do
- Promise a job, a salary or an outcome.
- Take payment for coverage, or recommend a company we have a connection with without saying so where the recommendation appears.
- Make up authors, reviewers, testimonials, ratings, pay figures or statistics.
General information, not advice
We explain how roles, programs and markets work and what the evidence says. For decisions about your career, contracts, hiring or money, talk to a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Sourcing and fact-checking
Each factual claim has a numbered footnote that links to its source. Claims we cannot source stay out.
Research findings link to the paper or report itself.
Pay and job-market numbers come from primary data (the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, public filings, pay ranges in job postings) and say which period they cover.
Program and company details are taken from the organization's own pages: its documentation, its course or exam pages and its job postings.
